The 25 Hottest European Athletes

Once I finished this presentation, I realized one thing, Europe is my new second favorite continent in the world. What was my old favorite? That answer is no longer important or relevant.

This list has so many babes from all around Europe. Some of them are from far away in Russia while others are closer to the ocean in England. Regardless of where they live, all these women share one thing in common—they live in Europe.

While browsing through the list, do me one favor, do not even attempt to pronounce some of the names—I have tried. Instead just enjoy the sights of the hot European babes.

25. Laura Lepisto (Finland)

Figure skating would not be sexy without the beautiful women of Finland. Laura Lepisto is one of the sexiest female athletes in Europe, probably why she is on this list, but she is probably one of the hottest female ice skaters in the world.

I would have told you something about her but her website is in Finnish and I was asleep that day in school when they taught that language.

24. Minea Blomqvist (Finland)

It could be a really long list if Finland keeps sprouting babes like Minea Blomqvist.

I could easily use this space to write about her career accomplishments but let's face it, nobody cares.

She is a hot blonde from Finland with an amazing body, that's all you need to know.

23. Yelena Isinbayeva (Russia)

Yelena is a Russian pole vaulter. She is actually the best pole vaulter in the world and she has proven that over the previous two Olympics by winning a gold medal in each.

So many sexual jokes about female pole vaulting but so little time.

22. Stefanie Vogele (Switzerland)

Stefanie Vogele is one of many tennis players that you will see on this list. She plays for the wonderful country of Switzerland and at the young age of 20, she has a long career ahead of her.

One amazing feat about Stefanie that hardly anyone knows, her last name is actually pronounced, Smith.

21. Almudena Cid (Spain)

That's what she said!

20. Kajsa Bergqvist (Sweden)

Kajsa Bergqvist once cleared a pole, over six feet high, doing the high jump in Germany during a meet.

I don't know about you but when I read that my first thought was, "Can she do that in heels?"

19. Maria Verchenova (Russia)

Maria Verchenova is one of my favorite female athletes. She is now one of my favorite European athletes.

Not only is she a great golfer, but she has been called the Maria Sharapova of golf. Not only because she is from Russia but because she is tall and beautiful.

18. Alona Bondarenko (Ukraine)

The world of tennis would not be complete without at least one babe from the Ukraine.

Alona Bondarenko is exactly that, a hot babe that plays tennis from the Ukraine. She is a decent player but my list has nothing to do with skill level and everything to do with physical attributes.

17. Margherita Granbassi (Italy)

Margherita Granbassi is an Italian fencer.

It is a shame that she chose the one sport where the entire female body, face included, gets covered up. A sport she should be playing is bikini wrestling, that is a real sport, right?

16. Maurizia Cacciatori (Italy)

Maurizia Cacciatori is one of the hottest female volleyball players no one has ever heard of.

She is smoking hot, as the picture proves, and she is a lot older than most of the women on this list at 37 years old. She should be considered a VILF (V-Volleyball). If you have to ask what that means, then you shouldn't be on this site.

15. Rita Dravucz (Hungary)

Who says water polo is not sexy? This Hungarian water polo player takes the sport to a whole new level with her beauty.

14. Elena Dementieva (Russia)

Elena is not just your ordinary Russian female tennis player. She is tall, has blond hair, and is an incredible player.

Wait a second, she is an ordinary Russian tennis player.

13. Anni Friesinger (Germany)

Anni is one of the best German speed skaters in the world. She has won five Olympic medals, including three gold. She also holds the Olympic record for the 1500m with a time of 1:54.02.

Of course, none of the statistics matter when you look at her picture. That picture should win the gold medal.

12. Joanna Krupa (Poland)

Poker is a sport. Poker is definitely a sport.

If you believe the preceding sentences, than you already understand why Joanna Krupa makes the list. She is a former Playboy model turned poker pro.

11. Anna Kournikova (Russia)

Did you think I would have a list of hot European athletes and not include Anna Kournikova?

10. Sophie Sandolo (France)

It is about time France. I was wondering when a French babe would squeeze onto the list.

Sophie Sandolo is the hottest female golfer in the world and I challenge anyone to dispute that statement.

9. Claudia Toth (Austria)

I have never really cared about some Olympic sports like curling, but when I found out that Claudia Toth was a player for the Austrian national curling team, I quickly began my Google search.

This picture great but this one is even hotter.

8. Maria Sharapova (Russia)

This was a no-brainer.

No one would watch tennis on television without knowing that Maria Sharapova was going to be on.

She is to female tennis what Tiger Woods is to golf. Except for all the mistresses of course. Sorry Tiger but that one was just too easy.

7. Tatiana Golovin (France)

Tatiana Golovin is a tennis player born in Russia, shocking, but moved to France and is now a french tennis player.

It does not matter who she plays for, one thing is true about this blonde beauty, she can wear a towel better than anyone else.

6. Ana Paula Mancino (Italy)

I will be the first to admit that she was not a European athlete originally. She started by playing for Brazil but then moved to Italy and continued her career.

To me, based on her natural beauty, I will allow her a spot on the list because technically she did play sports in Europe and that makes her a European athlete.

5. Liv Boeree (United Kingdom)

Olivia Boeree should make the list for several reasons—her level of hottness is undeniable, but she should also get bonus points for having the greatest nickname in sports today, The Iron Maiden.

I always say this but does it really matter what is said here?

Liv's legs keep distracting me and I forgot what I was going to say.

4. Ana Ivanovic (Serbia)

Ana Ivanovic is one of those women that can be really hot or not.

Her level of sexiness is correlated to the photo she poses for and for this picture here, she easily makes the top four.

3. Maria Kirilenko (Russia)

I am starting to see a trend here. Maria Kirilenko is the sixth Russian hottie to make the list.

At least she is not another Russian tennis babe. Wait, what was that? She is another female Russian tennis babe?

2. Daniela Hantuchova (Slovakia)

If there was a way to have a tie for the hottest European athletes than I would make Daniela Hantuchova, 1a.

But we need to stop living in a dream world and come back to the reality that there are no ties and a winner must be determined.
