Rumor Denied For Now: A&M Needs To Decide Now

Dylan MartinContributor IIIJune 13, 2010

An unnamed source is telling orangeblood.com that the Pac-10 commissioner met with A&M today. Larry Scott was talking with A&M about joining their conference but A&M turned him down.

Scott visited Oklahoma and Oklahoma State yesterday, and the Texas Tech site RedRaidersSports.com tweeted that the same plane he used was in College Station this morning. This may be another hint that A&M will join the SEC.

DENIED

From Chip Brown's Titter

"Cook said A&M has not turned down the Pac-10 and denied Orangebloods.com's report to that effect, which cited a Big 12 AD's confirmation."
