Holland took qualifying by storm and waltzed through winning every match and only conceding two goals. They’ve looked like a side which could actually contend for the title. Although, for some strange reason the Dutch have a history of self destructive performances and washing out when the pressure is really on.

It is unlikely they fail get through the group stages, but after that it’s anybody's guess as to how well they'll do. What can be said for them is that if they play like they did in their recent 3-0 win over Italy then they should have no problems beating Denmark.

Denmark are a pretty solid side, they’re well organised and well rounded, the only issue that the team has is that they lack the flare of the stronger sides in the Cup, one of these of course being their opponents, Holland.

It would be surprising if they didn’t make it through the group stages although stranger things have happened. Promisingly for the Danes, five of the last six matches between these two teams have resulted in draws and they’d certainly be happy with such a result, entering as massive underdogs.

This match is the Holland’s game to lose; only time will tell if this is going to be another one of their random catastrophe’s to add to the ever growing list. Despite the history between these sides, they should be much too much of a handful for Denmark to contain.

The Danish could probably scrape a consolation goal, but they will probably need to pick up points from their other two matches in to group stage if they are hoping to move on.
