Bellator finalist Ben Askren was upended today by Travis Paulson in the USA Wrestling World Team Trials challenge tournament.

Paulson's twin brother, Trent, advanced to the finals on the opposite side of the bracket creating the first real Paulson vs. Paulson match up since the brothers started wrestling as youths.

In past finals appearances pairing the two the brothers have elected to forfeit to each other in a rotation.  The 2010 World Team Trials, however, are the event they will put their past behind them and square off for the first time in competition.

The winner of the challenge tournament advances to a best-of-three series against Indiana native Andrew Howe to represent the United States at the 2010 Wrestling World Championships .
