Well .. Portugal Rank 3rd in the world .. The 2nd best player in the world Mr C ronaldo .. My reasons for them not going past the first round is they lack of a genuine Striker, Consider Ronaldo to be amazing midfielder and he would be doubly dangerous if they had someone good upfront .. Ivory Coast without Drogba will be able 2 match Portugal .. For Portugal to qualify .. They will have 2 win this one .. Draw and they are as good as out .. I dnt see them winning against Brazil and they just abt edge North Korea .. I vision Brazil And Ivory coast going through and even put a 50 quid wager on it = D !!!

England getting knocked out in the Quarter Finals

I Dont see them progressing beyond the quarter finals .. They have an easy group and all and well either meet an resurgent Aussie squad / Good Ghana team in the 2nd group .. and should they pass that .. They meet Argentina .. who will beat them in a hard fought game .. A game that will be one of the spectacles of the World Cup .. !!! =)

My Teams for the Semis

My Teams for the Semis are Argentina , Spain , Brazil and France. This is what I am backing for, Argentina for their attacking prowess. Spain for their complete game, Brazil for their amazing defense, and France are my dark horses for the tournament. They might have lost to China in the friendlies, needed a Henry bit of magic to make France qualify from the qualifiers, still think they do well.

Teams capable of performing a few upsets are North Korea, Slovakia, and Serbia. And maybe with a little luck the Bafana boys.

Well I have done some simple Analytical maths, and the team most likely to win the tournament is Argentina. Let me explain, Europe and South American Teams have a share of 9 World Cups each. Since the World Cup began it's either been one South American followed by one European Team Barring. The Great Italian Squad that won in 34 and 38 and Brazil than won in 58 and 62.
