NFLPA are making things worst
The National Football League Players Association filed papers to special master Stephen A Burbank challenging the National Football League’s television contract provision in 2011 that still pays the NFL in the event of a lockout.
The fact of the matter is that they are only making things worst for themselves.
I am going to be blunt here and pardon my language, but I have had enough as I have never seen a greedier group of people in my life.
Heck they even make former Enron executives look like a bunch of saints as at least they tried to fix things with some grand plans, but things didn’t work out.
These mother fuckers don’t even care about the retired players who are right now struggling to pay hospital bills, making ends meet, or in the case of former Buffalo Bills Electric Company offensive lineman Reggie McKenzie and others that live in a homeless shelters.
Here is an idea DeMaurice Smith. I challenge you to go around to every NFL city and meet with every former NFL player and listen to their stories, look them straight into their eyes, and tell them sorry we cannot help you as it is your fault you have no money.
The fact of the matter is current players before this year, as outlined in Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame guard Joe DeLamielleure’s, received astronomical amounts of benefits in tuition assistance plan, annuity plan, second career savings plan, and a health reimbursement account, which the NFL doesn’t have to fund this year with the new rules in 2010.
If the NFLPA thinks that the owners are going to reach more into their pockets to help fund an increase in retired player’s pensions they can think again as retired players believe that the owners have given up more than enough to the NFLPA and that an increase should come from the player’s 59.6 percent share.
In the end the fact of the matter is that the only way that a new collective bargaining agreement will get done is if the NFLPA makes major concessions.
