Nebraska Will Join Big Ten Conference
The Nebraska Cornhuskers football program has decided to leave the Big 12 and join the Big Ten Conference according to Orangebloods.com. No documents have been signed as of today, but Nebraska will join the Big Ten later this week.
This move should benefit Nebraska football because they no longer have to face the likes of Texas and Kansas annually, so they should be considered in the top two of the conference.
This move starts the huge conference expansion that the Big Ten and Big 12 were rumored to initiate over the past several months.
Texas and Texas A&M Officials To Meet Thursday
Texas and Texas A&M officials will meet on Thursday to discuss the future of the Big 12 Conference. This comes in the wake of the Nebraska Cornhuskers football program moving to the Big Ten. The Big 12 Conference now is synonymous with controversy.
Colorado, Nebraska, and Missouri are three schools that are being rumored to possibly leave the conference.
The Big 12 Conference is now in ruins and if Colorado and Missouri leave, that could spell the permanent end to the Big 12 Conference.
