The Top 5 Homefield Advantages in the NFL Today
It is always great when the home team can look forward to their home field.
They can look forward to support from screaming fans and a loud venue to help them on defense.
Here is my opinion on the Top 5 Home Field Advantages today.
5. Heinz Field (Steelers)
Heinz Field is a good home field advantage for the Steelers because their stadium provides an awesome atmosphere.
When they play Renegade in the 4th quarter, it absolutely gets the place rockin and rollin. The players say they love it when Renegade starts.
Plus the Steelers fans are very loud on defense, even with the open end stadium.
4. Lambeau Field (Packers)
Lambeau Field is a crazy venue to play in for the opposing team. It provides a very hostile environment and is very loud because of the bowl that it provides.
The Cheese Heads make this stadium rock, thanks to the great Packers teams that show up every year in the end.
3. M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens)
Ravens Stadium is deafening for the opposing team.
The stadium holds around 72,000 people and all of them will be screaming their heads off.
This stadium is said to be one of the loudest according to many NFL players including Ben Roethlisberger, Carson Palmer, and even Peyton Manning.
2. Arrowhead Stadium (Chiefs)
When the Chiefs are actually contending, which rarely happens these days, this stadium is ridiculously loud and is like hearing a sonic boom.
Very, very good home field advantage for the Chiefs, especially when they are in contention.
1. Qwest Field (Seahawks)
Qwest Field is without question the loudest and craziest venue in the NFL.
Its structure design gives it the loudness and echoing that occurs as the game goes on in Seattle.
