Team USA's time has finally come to prove that they are second to none in international basketball! Anything less than the gold medal will be a disappointment for Coach K and company.
There will be 12 teams squaring off in the 2008 Olympics. They are separated into two different groups with six teams apiece.
Group A: Argentina, Australia, Croatia, Iran, Lithuania, and Russia
Group B: Angola, China, Germany, Greece, Spain, and USA
Can Kobe Bryant and LeBron James lead Team USA back to their winning ways? Can this team reclaim Team USA's once dominant status?
All these questions will be answered soon, starting August 10 when they take on Yao Ming's Chinese national squad in Team USA's first game in the 2008 Olympics.

The exact game number and time for the four quarterfinal games will be known at the latest on the evening of Aug. 18. The quarterfinals will be played at these PACIFIC times: 11:30 p.m. Aug. 19, 1:45 a.m., 5 a.m., and 7:15 a.m.

The exact game number and time for the two semifinals will be known on the evening of Aug. 20 at the latest. The semifinals games will be played at 5 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. PACIFIC time. In Beijing time, tip-off is at 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.

what are u talking about? four guards and one dwight howard are u kidding us? we need two big man inside were playing against china on our first game. i will put cp3 on point kobe on shooting guard lebron on small forward carlos boozer on power forward and then its either bosh or howard play the center position.. how bout that??
