Hiding in the shadows of UFC 114, behind the greatest grudge match in recent history, was DREAM 14.
While fans were getting that one last night's rest in before the anticipated showdown between Rashad Evans and Quinton Jackson, some of DREAM's biggest stars were putting in work inside their own cage.
Ikuhisa Minowa slayed another giant of a man, Joachim Hansen learned that the featherweight division is much tougher than he anticipated, Kazushi Sakuraba saw his Gracie-killing ways come to an end for good, and Nick Diaz battered Hayato Sakurai before finishing him with an armbar.
The night also saw Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto get back on the winning track with a TKO victory over Federico Lopez in the first round.
After a minute and a half of feeling each other out, Lopez went in on the offensive and subsequently ran right into a straight right hand from Yamamoto.
After crumbling to the mat, the referee pulled Yamamoto off a few seconds later after landing a few more bombs on the unconscious Lopez.
The much-needed win earns Yamamoto a spot on Bleacher Report's first official featherweight rankings, so let's see where.
