Possible (Suggested) Changes For The 2010-2011 Phoenix Suns

A lot of NBA players will be changing uniforms this summer. With that said, this and every other news site will hit record numbers when it comes to reporting, analyzing, and commenting about individual players. Of course the team with the final offers will be praised or criticized for their new commitments. We are less than a month away from this frenzy. So before everyone gets stuck on debating the potential destinations of individuals and the dollar amount they want. I have decided to skip that for now, and look at things from a teams point of view.

The 2010-2011 Phoenix Suns is my choice. Today I was left in awe with very small but bold possibilities. The chance of Dwayne Wade going to the dessert was one. Not only D. Wade, but Dirk Nowitztki, and David Lee would accompany him. I figured it would be nice, but it sounds very fictional and expensive. Then I decided to look at what can be possible for the Suns in the off-season by inspecting the weaknesses of the Suns' roster and their possible needs in case of Amare Stoudemire, and Channing Frye not returning to the Valley of the Sun. I really doubt that Dwayne Wade is what they would need just for the fact that they are strong at the guard position. So here is what I think they can commit to if they fail with what they have on their agenda. I suggest that the Suns should just forget about their plans and go with something that can make them into an even greater contender.  

Here is what I suggest for The Phoenix Suns: 

If Frye and Amare don't come to an agreement with the Suns, then lets think about improving the weaker front court they'll be left with. How? I say make offers to whom it may concern for both David Lee and Dirk Nowitztki. If the Suns do a sign and trade involving Barbosa to New York for Lee, which is possible due to the fact that Mike D'Antoni loves Barbosa. Then they convince Nowitzki that one more run with his buddy Steve Nash is worth a try. Then the Suns should let Robin Lopez know that he will be more responsible for being involved with interior offense. Lopez can only get better in the areas he stands out, being defense, and his ability to rebound. The Suns front court then will be stronger than what we have seen in recent years. The addition of David Lee will be crucial. I can honestly say that this will be the first strong forward the Suns acquire since Charles Barkley. His rebounding is phenomenal, along with his well rounded ability to score.

I think no changes should be made at the guard position after the departure of Barbosa. They don't need any tweaking with their two starting guards either. If it's not broke, why even try to fix that area? Unless the salary of Jason Richardson is in the way and I doubt it, especially if they part ways with Channing Frye, and Amare Stoudemire.

Grant Hill should be solid off the bench along with, Dragic, and Dudley. I also hear nothing but good things about Earl Clark, and Dwayne Jones. Next season should be good for both players to develop after frequently watching and learning from the sidelines this past season. Yet they still were socially involved with this group which was as close as a family can be. There won't be anyone to replace Channing Frye's contributions off the bench.Though,the addition of Dirk Nowitzki will give the same type of accurate shooter on offense, with the only difference that he would be a starter. 

There you have it. The possibilities of what can be allowed to change in Arizona. Let me know what you think.
