10 Running Backs You Need On Your Team In PPR Leagues

Get your draft sheets out and grab a pencil because here are the top 10 running backs that you need on your fantasy football team if you are in a PPR (Points Per Reception) league.

My name is Peter Comunale and I am a fantasy junkie. With this title comes a lot of responsability as well as a lot of hard work. While I actively compete in over 40 fantasy sports leagues each year, fantasy football is my crown jewel.
I have won over 15 fantasy football leagues in the past 7 years, some extremely tough leagues, some amateurish.

If you are anything like me you salivate everytime you think of draft day! You spend countless hours trying to out stratagize your opponents and grin everytime you hear "Nice Pick" during your draft, while inside your telling yourself "you bet your a** that was a nice pick, it took me 3 hours to come up with that little gem".

When draft day comes ask yourself this.... "Have I done enough to at least secure a playoff spot"? Fact is, most people haven't and even worse, most people don't even bother to look at the little things that make huge differences. "what little things do you speak of" you ask? How about the fact that drafting a running back who quarterbacks love to dump the ball off to? In PPR leagues this one LITTLE THING can mean the difference between losing a game by 1 point or winning by 1, or even worse THE TIE!!! I see at least 2 to 3 ties each year and this is one of the best ways to prevent it.

When evaluating a top pick at the RB spot, this one thing (receptions)accounts for about 30% of my choice. Here is my list of players you need to have on your radar in PPR leagues during your draft. Once the top 10 go you have maybe 2 or 3 more backs who will contribute to this catagory.
