Dale Hawerchuk was named this morning as the new head coach of the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League.

Hawerchuk had previously been the head coach and part-owner of the Orangeville Crushers OJHL Tier II hockey club for the last three seasons.

He will inherit a strong club after former Colts head coach and general manager Marty Williamson left the club to take over the Niagara Ice Dogs.

Best of Luck Dale.
