Fantasy Baseball Week 10 Start/Sit

Can you believe that it’s Week 10 already? June is finally upon us, the Stephen Strasburg debut has been set, and we are barreling toward the All-Star Game as the Fantasy Baseball standings are finally beginning to take shape. Let's see who we have in this week's edition of Start/Sit.


Starting Pitcher to Start

Coming off a Week Nine two-start performance, Dodgers starter John Ely should be ready to go for you in Week 10. A former White Sox prospect, Ely appears to have found his niche with the Los Angeles Dodgers. So far this season, he is 3-2 with a 3.00 ERA. Sure, this is fine and dandy, but the real beauty of his statistics can be found in his K:BB ratio. In 2010, he has an amazing 32:6 K:BB ratio, meaning he’s allowing fewer runners on base and sitting more people down on the bench.

With his average fastball and above-average breaking pitches, Ely has found success at the Major League level. As long as he continues to have success, I suggest that you have him in your starting rotation...
