Dead last in the Central Division and no hope of reaching the playoffs, it's time to start trading players and building for the future. Currently the following players have been linked to rumors:

OF Xavier Nady: Mets, Yankees, Rays and Braves

OF Jason Bay: Mets, Braves, Rays and Diamondbacks

SS Jack Wilson: Dodgers

LHP Damaso Marte: Phillies, Yankees, Cardinals and Brewers

After the last two big wins against the Houston Astros, the players mentioned above are posting good numbers, plus other players are showing they could fetch great prospects for the future. Most, if not all current players on the roster should be traded with the exception of:

Zach Duke, Paul Maholm, Ian Snell, Jose Bautista, and Nate McLouth. Those players should become untouchable if the team intends to build for the future.

There are players in the minors who could easily take the traded players' spots and the team might even become better. I hope the team opens up it's eyes and starts the fire sale. Let's face it the currently team is not going anywhere but down hill fast.
