Five-Star QB Braxton Miller Commits To Ohio State Buckeyes

Huber Heights, OH quarterback Braxton Miller, the top remaining uncommitted QB recruit in the 2011 class, committed to Ohio State in an announcement ceremony at his high school at noon today.

Miller, a five-star QB and B/R's eighth-best prospect overall , chose the Buckeyes over offers from several top BCS schools, including Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Notre Dame.

The Gators and Crimson Tide were reportedly the only other schools still in the running at the time of his decision.

Miller is a 6'3", 200 pound quarterback whose speed, swagger, and dual-threat ability many have seen fit to compare to current Ohio State starting QB Terrelle Pryor.

Other recruiting followers have even said he's the better passer at the high school level and could match Pryor stride for stride.

In any event, Miller's verbal greatly raises the standing of Ohio State's already decorated 2011 class , though it takes the last remaining five-star QB off the board.
