2010 MLB Mock Draft: Predicting the Los Angeles Dodgers First Four Picks

Years of strategic draft decisions and investments in the farm system have proven fruitful for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Players like Russell Martin, Andre Ethier, James Loney, Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw are testaments to the idea of cultivating for the future.

However, as minor league prospects turn in to major league stars, the resources begin to wear thin for the Dodgers should injuries arise. Therefore, Los Angeles upper management must once again make the right moves to ensure the future is filled with playoff and World Series contention.

Tommy Lasorda will be representing the Dodgers at the 2010 draft, and fans can be sure he has a large say in which players the team is targeting. Together with Frank McCourt and Ned Colletti, Lasorda will be called upon to shore up the future for the Boys in Blue.
