Billy Wagner has been complaining about his left shoulder lately, so the New York Mets made sure that their closer got an MRI on the left shoulder. Results have come back today, and he has been diagnosed with spasms in his shoulder. Wagner is listed as day-to-day, and will probably get a night or two off.

Billy Wagner has 24 saves on the season, and a 2.20 ERA. Wagner also has six blown saves on the season. Wagner is a key player in the Mets chance for a playoff birth, since their bullpen has been shaky this whole season.
