The transfer window is almost open and clubs are getting ready to table bid for players.

Many clubs are set to offer high prices or reject high prices, many are set to "steal" free transfers or bargains.

In the Arsenal camp, it will be action packed with every aspect of a transfer window being put in play.

From making high offers in Yoann Gourcuff, to fending of Fabregas from arrogant Barcelona.

Also getting Marouane Chamakh on a free transfer from Bordeaux and then finally trying to get bargains.

The latest scouted prodigy by Arsenal is a 16-year-old prodigy names Nick Powell who struts his stuff at the youth level for Crewe Alexandra at youth levels.

Arsenal are reportedly interested and could swoop in for the player rated highly by Arsenal scouts. It is no secret to the world that Arsene Wenger is a talent guru and has groomed loads of stars and transformed them from unknown to highly sought after. Hence Crewe will be looking to get a substantial fee if Arsenal does finalize the deal.

Arsenal sent scouts to watch the youngster play at the Toulon tournament and they came back impressed with what they saw, stating that he could be of great use for Arsenal in the future.

While Nick Powell has not yet made his league debut, he is highly rated by the staff at Crewe and is said to have a bright future at the club.

Whether or not Arsene bids for this promising midfielder is yet to be known, but we could have yet "another" 16 year old gem in our hands.

Arsene fans might be a bit skeptical with a bid for him as talents like Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere are waiting in the wings to shine, or better still signing Gourcuff and persuading Joe Cole to pen a deal with Arsenal.

Impatience grows with every season and signings like this are not helping to invoke patience.

In Arsene we trust.
