Barnet have named the former Stevenage Borough and Gillingham boss Mark Stimson as their new manger.

Stimson arrives at Underhill less than a month after being axed by the Gills following their relegation from League One.

As the season progressed, the Gills fans got more and more impatient with him. They ended up going back to League 2, largely because they didnt win a single league game away all season.

He was the Gill's hero when he got them promoted, lets hope he can do just as well at Barnet.

Bees chairman Tony Kleanthous has said:

"We went through a very vigorous selection process and have chosen Mark mainly because of his experience in the game and at our level and also because of his over-riding enthusiasm for good football.

"He has worked with Paul Fairclough on the England C scene and Michael Stone, the new first-team coach. Because of all the investment we need to push for promotion next season."
