Tony Stewart is about to make another big announcement.
After his announcement on July 10th that he'd be leaving Joe Gibbs Racing for part ownership in Stewart Haas Racing, many questions on sponsorship and car number arose.
Rumors have said over the past few months that Office Depot and possibly Old Spice would sponsor the new car, but the number is still unknown.
Haas CNC GM Joe Custer has apparently applied for a trademark on the number 14 on July 2nd for a variety of products—paper goods, luggage, knives, racing themed videos, and more.
While that announcement is expected Friday, no word yet on a sponsor or possible new number for Stewart's second team, which Ryan Newman is expected to take over in 2009.
In other Stewart Haas news, Smoke said on his radio show Monday that the team had no plans for a third car next year, but that they did want to eventually expand to a four car operation.
No word on if this announcement will have anything to do with the team's second car.
Joey Logano is expected to be named as the replacement driver for Tony Stewart in the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota.

Well, at least Tony is sticking with some kind of Depot! But I sure did love his Home Depot orange is a fast color commercials! Home Depot seemed to match Tony's style as well. But now he can purchase paper goods while smelling nice with his Old Spice! The number is what interests me at this point.....
