NFC East Predictions

After the release of Donavan McNabb and Brain Westbrook by the Eagles, the whole division is going to experience a land slide shift in power. It only adds to that when you find out McNabb is in Washington. In addition, the Giants have gotten rid of Antonio Pierce, but signed Antrelle Rolle, which will make the G-Men an interesting team to watch in 2010. Stay tuned, to find out who's No. 1!
Number 4: Philadalphea Eagles
Look at who the Eagles have lost over the past wo seasons. Brian Dawkins, Donavan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, and Correll Buckhalter have all left the team. This looks a lot to me like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of 2009, when they lost Derrick Brooks, Cato June, Phillip Buchanan, Anthony Mcfarland, Joey Galloway, and Jeff Garcia. When a team loses players of the Eagles caliber, they will not exactly be competitive the following year.
Predicted Record:
4-12
Number 3: New York Giants
This isn't a matter of the Giants getting worse, but everyone else has gotten much better. The Cowboys, well they are the Cowboys, and the Redskins picked up Donavan McNabb along with a successfull draft day.
The Giants made only two moves, signing Antrelle Rolle, and releasing Antonio Pierce, and although Rolle is a great player, he just isn't good enough to really help the Giants make the first two spots in the NFC East.
Predicted Record:
9-7
Number 2: Washington Redskins
The McNabb trade changes the Redskins entire team this year. It will make the recievers, the O-Line, and Portis much better. The defense was stout last year, and considering the defense Shanahan coached in the early 2000's, we don't have to worry about that. Campbell was a disease that was poisoning the team last year, and now that the Skins have a great quarterback, they can finally be a real competitor.
Predicted Record:
10-6 (Clinch Wild Card Berth)
Number 1: Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys look like they will be the kings of this division for years to come. They have an incredibly powerful defense led by the monster known as "D-Ware", a nice little running game with Marion Barber and Felix Jones, and an electrifying passing attack. There doesn't really seem to be a dent in the Cowboys armor this year. They haven't grabbed anyone, but then again, they haven't lost anyone. The Cowboys will probably do great things in the Playoffs, until the Vikings knock them out AGAIN.
Predicted Record:
12-4 (Clinch Playoff Berth)
