Chelsea is preparing a bid for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres in a deal that is reported to be over £35 million.

Chelsea reportedly made several attempts to sign AC Milan Brazilian playmaker Kaka, but have failed as Kaka does not favor the move. Their bid for Robinho has also failed, with the Real Madrid forward wanting to stay in Madrid.

According to reports, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba wants to move to either Barcelona or Inter Milan. All these facts may yield in the possibility of Torres joining Chelsea this summer.

However, Liverpool will be reluctant to sell their prolific striker as they are preparing a move for Tottenham's Robbie Keane.

However, if Liverpool keep Torres this summer yet fail to win the EPL this season, then expect Torres to leave Liverpool after end of this season.
