This is a list of the most alluring uniforms in sports. That doesn't mean the best or the most historic, it means the uniforms that draw the most attention.

And if that includes bikinis and spandex, well then, it must be.

Here are the most alluring sports uniforms of all time.

Boston Celtics Green

Simple, plain, and filled with history. The Boston Celtics have one of the most iconic jerseys in sports in their green threads.

Made famous by the golden years, the Celtics hold the record in the NBA for the most championships won with the jersey since 1950.

Championships always make everything better.

Barcelona

No one can ever deny that Barcelona jerseys are everywhere. The colors aren't exactly orthodox and the design isn't necessarily stunning, but it gets the job done.

These serseys, much like the Juventus kit, is old. Very old. And caries some history with the jerseys dating back to the 1920's.

Juventus

The Black and white of Italian league soccer and, if I am not mistaken, these jerseys are one of the oldest around, wearing the stripes since a little after their inception in 1897.

Obviously the threads have changed and my guess is that the team founders were not wearing synthetic polyester uniforms, but the look still stands.

New York Yankee's Pinstripes

The New York Yankees, or the highlanders back in the day, began wearing the pinstriped uniforms all the way back in 1913, now they are one of the most iconic sports symbols on the planet.

This will be one of the few actual sports team jerseys on this list.

Just giving you the heads up.

Women's Tennis

With all the grunting and screeching, one may overlook the most important quality of a women's tennis game, that is to those that are previously uneducated about the game of tennis.

The outfit, like none other, can draw in viewers from every corner of this planet

Track and Field

We all know that Javelin thrower that blows every one else out of the water. (rhyme?)

Except when you pay to go watch a meet, you must have an interest in other aspects of the game. Such as the uniforms each individual is wearing.

Now obviously, tight clothes fit into the alluring uniform category.

Cheerleading

I almost neglected to put cheerleading on this list. I completely spaced on the passion, energy, and excitement they bring to their organizations.

Not to mention their color coordinated uniforms.

Football... Kind of

The Lingerie bowl airs once a year during the Super Bowl time slot and while I'm not even sure of the ratings it receives, I can guarantee that someone, somewhere, is watching.

Whether it has been recorded or if they are really just ignoring the Superbowl and deciding that the Lingerie bowl is a better use of their time, someone is watching it.

Women's Soccer...

This is on the off chance that said player rips off her shirt, whirling it over her head, and sliding near the corner flag on her knees.

And you know what?

Can you believe there was a massive uproar over her celebration?

Go figure.

The one time a woman takes her top off in public, everyone gets angry and turns into a politically correct fool.

In my opinion, her celebration could have been bolstered if her teammates joined in the fun.

Collegiate Indoor Volleyball

Short shorts make everything better... Unless you are a man. In that case it makes everything worse.

The Football Fan

The fans, particularly the hot college Coeds, deserve a spot on this list for their support of their team through their carefully chosen attire.

It's true.

The women of college football that sit in the stands tend to be the benchmark for how good said football team will be.

Fact.

The Real Football Fan

Oh how the world rejoiced when you qualified for the 2010 World Cup, for you bring many fans true happiness. Not the team obviously, but the women that accompany the team.

The team hasn't been threatening in a long time, so while the nation is waiting for football glory, they can use their football women as a consolation prize.
