The Yankees family just got a little bigger after their starting right-fielder proposed to nice actress Joanna Garcia. Swisher has had a nice dating resume as he dated the B/R top rated WAG of the Bronx, Daniella Gamba.
Derek Jeter was the previous Yankee to be removed from the list of potential Yankee bachelors. Now its Swisher's turn and he knocked the ball out of the park with Joanna Garcia.

Joanna Garcia starred on Reba
Garcia was along side Reba McEntire as her oldest daughter in the hit CW show. The show aired from 2001 to 2007, and she was out looking for work again. She is very young looking and fits the role of a great looking young girl in her late teen years or early 20's. Swisher is definitely proud.
The Gossip Girl
Once again she hit the tabloids as the CW was willing to give her yet another shot on their network by having a role in their popular television show, "Gossip Girl".
In the show she played Bree Buckley. Wikipedia described her role as "a fun, sexy brunette, an irreverent evil Miss America type who is politically progressive but hails from a conservative Southern family."
Connection to the Yankee Family
She was the homecoming queen at Tampa Catholic High School. That is the same school Yankee favorites Lou Pinella and Tino Martinez attended. Also the school where not well-liked Yankee killer Luis Gonzalez, hero of the 2001 World Series, attended.
