AT FIRST GLANCE...there are games that always look 'Tasty' ATS in many publication as a 'Bullet' trend only to 'trap' upon further review. In 2006, The Director looked for the first time to clear the way for you to understand which team has the real 'ADVANTAGE' against the 'Trend'. Week 12, The Director highlights 'Who Is A Turkey?':

11.20 If there was ever a time to determine 'Who is a Turkey?', and who is for real, Thanksgiving is the week to do so. Coming off a nasty upset in New York where Roethlisberger had the victory and the ball at the Jets' 43 yard line, the PITTSBURGH STEELERS, who are 2-0 ATS versus the Miami Dolphins, look to play their ADVANTAGE at Home. Can they prove they are for real, and cover 16 instead of only they have in their previous two matchups? With Chester Taylor able to run over the Oakland Raiders with 164 yards, while the Giants pounded the Lions, the MINNESOTA VIKINGS, who had gone 0-2 ATS versus Big Blue at Home prior to their 2005 upset victory in New York on only 137 offensive yards, look to prove they can steal the Giants ADVANTAGE, and prove they are not a turkey without Peterson.

11.20 If there was ever a turkey, it is Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders. With its season all but stuffed, the Black n Silver, who have benched Jordan in favor of Vargas, will work to stop the Chiefs. With Johnson averaging over 140 yards rushing yards per game in their matchups in 2006, and 112 in their victory versus the Raiders in Week 7 in Oakland, Croyle and Smith look to carry the torch, and play the ADVANTAGE as they begin a new era in Arrowhead. They will look to continue a traditon that has seen them go 9-0 SU in their last nine, including a 3-0 run ATS.
ADVANTAGE CHIEFS

11.20 One team that surely not a turkey is Favre's Green Bay Packers that will spend the holiday in Detroit; the DETROIT LIONS historically losing 2-3 games at a time when they hit the losing patch. Although the Packers has lost is footing in 2005, the Packers recaptured this matchup under McCarthy, who is 2-0 ATS in sweeping the Lions in 2006 in outscoring them by 7.5 points per game. Even the Lions 424 offensive yards here in 2006 couldn't propel them to victory. Having had mixed success in their games in Detroit as an Underdog in three of the last four, the Pack will look to continue their run and start the Favre family Thanksgiving on the right foot.
ADVANTAGE PACKERS

11.20 Having put together another big victory in Week 11, the ARIZONA CARDINALS and the One Armed Bandit look to enjoy all the trimmings of the San Francisco 49ers, who while winning opening day at Home versus Leinart, have gone 1-3-1 ATS in their last five matchups. Having gone 3-2 SU in their last five matchups, the real question is whether the Cardinals, who have been favored by as many as 8.5 points in their last two battles at Home, can push Dilfer into enough interceptions to exceed their average 7 point margin of victory that they have waged in their last two at here.
