Early Monday morning reports surfaced that Carrick Felix has not been admitted to Duke University. Whether this is because of Felix's grades, or that he committed to Duke too soon, he will not become a Duke Blue Devil. That leaves an open hole for Duke to fill late in the 2010 recruiting process which they will not fill but rather use for the 2011 class, and puts no one in the small foward behind Kyle Singler. Duke will look to get more help on the front court.

Felix is now looking at the schools he was previously looking at before confirming Duke as his choice with Arizona St headlining the crew.

Duke could now possibly have a 5 man recruiting class for 2011 with the likes of Tyler Adams, Michael Gbinije, and looking at Austin Rivers, Quincy Miller, Amir Williams, and Anthony Davis, with the slight possibility of Marshall Plumlee.
