John Morrison: A Step Away From The Main Event

I have seen many recent articles on John Morrison. From his lack of mic skills to how he should have gotten his push instead of Jack Swagger.

The truth is, maybe his push is coming in the next few weeks. It will depend on his ankle injury. But lets say his ankle injury is not serious and he can come back in the coming weeks.

Currently, these are the RAW top heels at this point:

Chris Jericho
and below that The Miz
Batista is out so we wont count him

However, as faces, RAW only has John Cena and Randy Orton. You have HHH but he is out for god knows how long. Maybe he will be back by Summer Slam.

So there are 3 REAL main event heels and you have 2 current main event faces. Now is the time to put John Morrison in that category. This is the perfect time. You have Randy vs Edge for the next 2 months. Then you have John Cena with Sheamus also for the next 2 months. That leaves for a feud that can catapult John Morrison to the main event nicely against Jericho.

Jericho is the perfect person to move John Morrison to the main event scene. He is one of the few guys who would put him over. This can also lead to a number of PPV stealer matches due to the quality of these 2 wrestlers.

His time is now. If Morrison is ok from his injury by next week, the feud can start with Jericho and catapult him to the Main Event Scene ready for a title shot.
