I for one was glad to see the punk v mysterio angle come to what I'm presuming is it's conclusion at Over the Limit but on watching it again I thought of an angle which may have extended the program and may have revived a superstars career.

The masked man helping CM Punk is widely rumoured to be Joey Mercury and while this is a good return for a talented grappler I believe WWE is missing a trick by not making Chavo Guerrero the 4th member.

I think that if at the conclusion of the match the masked man attacked Mysterio and revealed himself as Chavo the WWE could have played off real life events to good effect.

In my alternate reality Rey becomes a member of SES at Over The Limit and Chavo gives an interview on Smackdown praising CM Punk as his saviour saying that Punk has made him see the light since coming over to smackdown, he could express his disgust at the hornswoggle angle and blame a dependancy be it drink or some other.

Chavo could then talk directly to Rey and reference the signature pharmacy scandal as well and this is where I'll admit it gets marginally controversial Chavo could reference Eddie and Benoits deaths. This does not need to be done explicity by name Chavo could justify why he made Rey join SES by saying 'Rey friends and family of ours would still be with us if they lived by the Straight Edge Gospel, this is good for you and good for me.'

I'll admit this is a angle that may split opinion but it could have brought Chavo back up the card and it would have reignited the angle between Rey and Punk. Look forward to hearing opinions
