Hogan Loves Me, Loves Me Not: Which X Division Wrestlers Could Be Cut

We've known for awhile that roster cuts are coming and some talented wrestlers will become future endeavored.
Since the TNA staff has failed to live up to their promise to "bring the X Division back" it makes sense that their division will see some casualties.
I made a slideshow last week which showed the wrestlers that I would cut if I was in charge. This list will show which X Division Wrestlers could go in the current state on TNA.
The roster cuts are much bigger than I originally thought. As many as 20 on screen wrestlers could go. That number could include non-wrestlers, but that does not change the fact that many talented people will lose their jobs. This slideshow will take a look at the X Division. I believe the X Division will take a fairly big hit in roster cuts.
This slideshow will take a look at every member of the X Division and whether or not I believe their services will be retained. Let's begin.
Note: I do not have insider knowledge on TNA nor do I have a list of the wrestler's salaries. Based on their time with the company and profile outside of TNA, it's not that hard to project who is expensive and who is not.
Douglas Williams
The X Division Champ seemed like a good guy to start off with. This slide will be short as Douglas Williams is not going anywhere.
He was stripped of the title due to flight problems yet he regained the belt at Sacrifice. He's not going to be fired.
Kazarian
Kazarian is another safe bet in the X Division. He briefly held the X Division title and has shown great improvements since ditching the Suicide gimmick. I even included him in a slideshow I did a couple weeks ago.

Kazarian does have one red flag. He's not as over as he could be with the crowd. He's a big part of the X Division, but he's one of the veteran members of the division, yet, he isn't getting the reception that a veteran should have.
I don't see Frankie leaving but then again I didn't see Daniels leaving either. Kazarian could be a curveball that we don't expect.
Amazing Red
Amazing Red is a prime target for roster cuts. He held the title for awhile and made a lot of title defenses, but his character has not been utilized very much since Hogan took over. He's not as over with the crowd as he could be.
Amazing Red has not been in TNA long and Hogan did not bring him in. He has a boring character and despite his in ring abilities I do not see him surviving the roster cuts.
Generation Me and the Motor City Machine Guns
There are two prominent tag teams in the X Divison and I put them together to save time. Neither of them are getting cut. The tag division is in terrible shape and TNA cannot afford to lose two great tag teams.
They haven't been around enough to make significant money and I don't think they will be cut. Hogan hasn't done a great job but I don't think that he and Bischoff will send these guys away.
Homicide
Homicide made my list of wrestlers that I would cut and I still believe that he will be fired. The company is high up of Hernandez and I think that makes Homicide expendable.
It's a shame because he's a great wrestler but he's a perfect candidate. He's been around awhile and I think that he's time is up.
Shark Boy
I considered Shark Boy to be too insignificant to put on my list of wrestler's that I would fire if I were TNA. He hasn't been on TV in forever.
Which is why he's not going to be in TNA when the cuts are made. Not much else to say, this is a no brainer.
Jay Lethal
Aside from Williams and the tag teams, Lethal is the other X Division wrestler who I think is completely safe. He's being touted as the new Ric Flair and is receiving a nice push.
His former tag team partner Consequences Creed is gone from the company. Black Machismo is going nowhere and that's a good thing.
Kiyoshi
Kiyoshi hasn't done anything since the World Elite broke up. Along with Shark Boy he's got about a zero percent shot at sticking around. If 15-20 wrestlers are really going then look for Kiyoshi to return to Japan.
It's a shame but I can't see him sticking around.
Shannon Moore
Shannon Moore is tricky. Jeff Hardy clearly got him a job in TNA and I don't know if TNA is willing to risk losing Hardy, one of the biggest and best stars in wrestling, by firing one of his best friends.
Moore is talented, more talented than people give him credit for. He probably didn't come cheap and I could see him getting the boot if Hardy's trial takes him away from TNA. Until that happens I consider him safe.
Brian Kendrick
Brian Kendrick is one of the stars brought in during the Hogan era. I definitely see him as a candidate for the pink slip considering Moore is presumably under Jeff Hardy's protection.
Kendrick has been impressive since his debut but I consider him expendable. WWE didn't see much in him and I don't really think TNA does either. He hasn't gotten the push that any of the other new wrestlers have gotten which means he could go.
Jesse Neal
You may argue that Jesse Neal is not actually in the X Division. There may be some truth to that but I still think he could be fired from TNA.
He has not been around for very long and even though he's in a tag team with Shannon Moore I don't consider him safe. TNA let Consequences Creed go despite his partnership with Jay Lethal and I think Shannon Moore is better used as a singles wrestler. Neal is definitely expendable.
Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe held the X Division title less than a year ago so that qualifies him for this list in my book.
I love Samoa Joe. I even have his Best of DVD. I'm sure most of you are fond of him as well. Hulk Hogan and Bischoff are not too fond of him though. In fact they made him leave TV until he lost weight.
Samoa Joe makes sense because he is a higher up guy who is not in a solid program right now. I know Hogan doesn't like him and that might be enough to get him fired. I've heard that Dixie Carter is reluctant to fire long time TNA talent but there are a lot of people who are supposed to go. Hopefully Samoa Joe is not one of them.
Conclusion
This slideshow only features the X Division wrestlers. They don't represent all the people who are going to be fired by TNA.
It's sad to see what the X Division has become. Destination X was a joke that barely even featured the X Division and was poorly promoted. Hopefully the X Division sees a resurgence later on, but I think that quite a few of these guys could be fired.
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff do not have final say. Let's hope that Dixie Carter does not decimate one of the key features of TNA
Check out one of my other slideshows to see even more wrestlers that I think TNA could fire.
