BREAKING NEWS
The New York Giants have reached an agreement to trade Jeremy Shockey to the New Orleans Saints. Shockey will be re-teamed with Saints head coach Sean Payton who called the plays in New York during Shockey's most prolific years. This will definitely give a boost to the Saints TE corps and should put Shockey back into the upper echelon of pass catching TE's.
Shockey, who missed the Giants wild Super Bowl run last year with a broken leg, will be replaced by Kevin Boss, who stepped up big-time last year as the Giants starting TE.
Because of Boss' emergence, Shockey was widely rumored to be traded before the draft in April. He repeatedly had run-ins with QB Eli Manning and was more of a headache for the Giants then a help in the last few years.
