There are hundreds of hot female slide shows on the web involving female athletes or women in sports. This is not another one of those. This is a list of some of the lesser known hotties in sports.

Everyone knows about Maria Sharapova, Julia Mancuso, Natalie Gulbis, Anna Rawson, Danica Patrick, and Amanda Beard.

This list is for the hot sports women that hardly anyone has heard of, or seen, until now.

I have put together a list of 20 of the most obscure hotties in sports.

20. Jeanette Lee - Pocket Billiards (USA)

Let's begin our journey through the lesser known women in sports by introducing you to The Black Widow.

What a great nickname for a pool player as hot as Jeanette Lee. People started calling her that because she loves to wear black. Orange County Choppers even made a bike called "The Black Widow Bike" in her honor.

19. Ashleigh McIvor - Freestyle Skier (Canada)

There was a song called "Blame Canada" from South Park.

The song was in response to Canada, and the fact that they aired a movie that all the children of South Park were beginning to imitate. And get into trouble for doing so. The parents of South Park used Canada as the scapegoat.

That being said, we should all blame Canada for producing this beautiful blonde babe.

What were they thinking? All we need in this world is another tall beautiful blonde with a knockout smile.

18. Victoria Pendelton - Cycling (England)

Victoria is a great cyclist. She has won about a thousand medals in her career including a gold medal at the 2008 Bejing Olympics.

She is not only great at her sport, but she has graced the cover of FHM in July of 2009

17. Kate Hollywood - Field Hockey (Australia)

If you have not heard of Kate Hollywood by now, it is probably because you have never watched field hockey in Australia.

Kate is not only an obscure hottie. She is a good field hockey player, too. She recently played in the 2008 Bejing Olympics for her home country, Australia.

I have to admit, I came across Kate by accident while doing research for another article. Either way, I am glad I found her. She has a smoking body.

16. Bridget Dwyer - Golf (USA)

Briget became semi-popular from the Golf Channel's reality show, The Big Break.

Dwyer made it to the finals of the show, where she almost beat Brianna Vega in an 18 hole match play.

She has more to offer than just looks. Dwyer graduated from UCLA with a degree in economics and a minor in Japanese.

Why would an American golfer want to minor in Japanese? Is it to prove that she is smarter than you?

15. Alona Bondarenko - Tennis (Ukraine)

Alona started playing in the pro tour when she was only 14 years old.

She has been ranked as high as 18th in the world, and currently stands at 31st. She plays doubles with her older sister, Valeria.

Ukraine is known for producing some of the world's hottest females. Alona is one of them.

14. Jennifer Barretta - Pocket Billiards (USA)

I am not the first to say this, but Jennifer Barretta is the hottest person in the world of pocket billiards. She even had a spread, excuse the pun, in FHM Magazine

If she were willing to teach me a thing or two about pool, I would be willing to learn as long as she dresses like this at every practice.

13. Sophie Sandolo - Golf (Italy)

Sophie is a professional golfer from Italy, and releases a calendar every year with pictures that are not allowed on this web site. I have seen them and trust me, if I could put them on here, I would.

Although she has never won a tournament in her professional career, one thing is for sure. Sandolo has never slept with Tiger Woods. At least, not yet.

12. Latasha Marzolla - MMA Fighter (USA)

Gina Carano is the face of women's MMA, but Latasha is the bust of women's MMA.

For this article, bust is referring to her twins located about 7 inches below her neck.

Aside from having one of the sexiest busts in sports, Latasha packs a powerful punch. Marzolla could kick the crap out of anyone she wanted to.

11. Almudena Cid Tostado - Rythmic Gymnast (Spain)

Almudena is one of my favorites to look at from this list. She is also the most flexible. Is their a correlation between her flexibility and why most men will like her?

10. Claudia Toth - Curling (Austria)

She is an Austrian Curler.

What else can I say about Claudia Toth?

She is so obscure that I had trouble getting much information about her, other than her name and the fact that she turned down an offer to pose nude in the German edition of Playboy.

9. Maria Verchenova - Golf (Russia)

This beauty is the first Russian women to play on the Ladies European Tour.

Along with that accomplishment, Verchenova is being considered the Maria Sharapova of golf.

The only difference is that Sharapova has won, and is an established winner, while Verchenova has some work to do.

8. Tanja Szewczenko - Figure Skater (Germany)

Tanja Szewczenko is the greatest thing to come out of Germany since the bicycle.

Tanja would have been a great female figure skater had she not have gotten sick.

In 1996, a deadly flu virus took her out of competition for two years.

She also got into an accident with Oskana Baiul.

Then in 1998, she got the flu again, and could not compete in the Nagano Winter Olympics.

You can call it fate, or just plan bad luck. Either way, this hottie deserves some recognition for her overall sexiness.

She has even posed nude for the German edition of Playboy.

7. Nikki Garrett - Golf (Australia)

How is it that I have never heard of this babe? Where has she been all my life?

Oh wait, she plays golf in Australia and Europe.

She was the Ladies European Tour ROY in 2006.

No one will ever sport a purple sweater and look half as good as Nikki does in this shot.

6. Maria Kirilenko - Tennis (Russia)

Who said that there can only be one hot tennis player named Maria to come out of Russia? Why not another?

Maria Kirilenko is the next "IT" girl in the tennis world. She is surprisingly good, and has been playing tennis since she was 5 years old. She worked her way to 18th in the world rankings in 2008.

She has a nasty backhand, combined with a solid serve. She knows the game of tennis better than most players.
In fact, she is dating fellow Russian tennis star, Igor Andreev.

5. Olivia Boeree - Poker (United Kingdom)

Many people will want to argue that poker is not a sport. But, for this slide show, let's agree to disagree, and say that it is a sport.

Otherwise, we would have to remove Olivia from the list. I don't think anyone wants that to happen.

Boeree is not just another female poker player. She is good.

Olivia recently became the third women to ever win the European Poker Tour, and has made close to 2 million dollars from poker in 2010.

She also has one of the best nicknames, The Iron Maiden.

4. Stephanie Rice - Swimming (Australia)

Stephanie Rice is the next Amanda Beard.

She is 21 years old, and at the 2008 Bejing Olympics, she won three gold medals.

She also became the first woman to swim the 400m individual medley in under 4:30 minutes,claiming a world record in the process.

She is a star in the making and should one day follow in the footsteps of Amanda Beard. And by follow in her footsteps I mean, pose for Playboy.

This blonde beauty is another reason men should learn to play golf.

2. Anna Semenovich - Figure Skating (Russia)

Anna is not just another female competitive ice dancer. She has multiple talents.

She is also a singer, dancer, actress, and if you have not already figured out from this picture, a model.

I had so many pictures to choose from that I could not decide which one to use. I was like a kid in the candy store with so many hot pictures such as this one or this one.
