The "24" series finale has unfortunately come upon us. Monday nights will never be the same. It has been around since late 2001, when it started with the assassination of a senator.
Will Jack Bauer get killed off?
That is the biggest question for viewers as they will anxiously watch the show Monday. Rumors are running wild that he will not die since the script for a "24" movie is in the works.
Jack's known for kicking butt and taking names. But what athletes could actually take him down?
Ricky Williams is now a self-proclaimed lover and not a fighter. But when he was playing football he was considered one of the craziest men on the field. He had several run-ins with the law and with the NFL's substance abuse policy.
He went a little off the reservation as he traveled far and wide to get away from the world and live in his own Ricky Williams world.
If Jack Bauer decided to fight Ricky Williams in an investigation on a drug trafficking program, Ricky might have a shot of beating Bauer.
Bauer is a lot smaller and not as strong as Ricky Williams. Williams could be in that mental state where he believes that whatever the rules are, he doesn't need to follow them.
If Ricky were to win, it would have to be the old Ricky and not the peaceful new one. But I believe that Williams could still pack a punch.
Taylor has been in the news a lot recently as he is in court facing several charges on rape and leaving the scene of a crime.
He was even eliminated off "Dancing with the Stars" after the seventh week! Gutsy voters.
Dont get me wrong Lawrence Taylor is a Hall of Famer and still has the potential to beat anybody up. Jack Bauer is no exception.
No. 56 hired prostitutes several times for opposing players during his playing days. He had connections. He used drugs after his career was over. He was in a downward spiral making him possibly go crazy.
Taylor is a mastermind of evil schemes that could fight Bauer and take him on, but could also get people to do it for him.
Dennis Rodman was the craziest athlete to ever step on a basketball court. He had countless tattoos, piercings and fights on the court.
He had affairs with several high profile women, like Madonna and Carmen Electra. He starred as a wrestler for the WWE and fought with Hulk Hogan. Rodman was a badass movie star with Jean Claude Van Damme.
He may not be a badass, but Rodman is a freak and he could make a season of "24" interesting.
We just think Jack would shred him both physically and tear him apart mentally.
Baseball players are not the most built or toughest guys in athletics, but Nolan Ryan and Pete Rose were the exception.
Nolan Ryan beat up a much younger Robin Ventura as he dared to cross the line and charge the mound. Ventura was in a headlock and had his lesson taught the heard way.
Rose was the gambler and bet money on baseball which caused him to be banned from baseball. But Rose talked quite a lot when he was playing. Rose backed up his mouth as he went in and found a way to defeat pitchers.
These two would be in a scenario where Rose would be the money maker and Ryan his hitman.
Bauer would have to get through Ryan first to get to Rose and that clearly would not be easy as Bauer would be in a headlock by the end of the fight.
Roger Clemens is a mad man when it comes to messing with him. If Jack Bauer were to ever go near him while he's in the middle of a suspected 'roid rage, beware.
He threw a broken bat at Mike Piazza and could throw much more larger and dangerous objects at Bauer.
He made a case as to being one of the best pitchers to ever take the mound at any stadium, but most of that went to waste when his name appeared in the Mitchell Report.
The Rocket fell to earth and is now out for revenge. He took on Brian McNamee and now is out for Jack Bauer in the latest season.
That would be quite the preview for a funny season of "24". But there is nothing funny about Clemens with a shattered bat in his hand.
Hockey is filled with fighters -- it's what makes the sport so much fun to watch. But who is one of the most renowned fighters for his age in the NHL?
The answer is Chris Chelios.
It's funny because the badass in the "Crank" movie series, Chev Chelios, is in a way named after the hockey star.
Chelios gets into plenty of fights on the ice and will most times get the best out of his competitors. Chelios has been around since 1983 and does not show signs of letting up.
Bauer vs. Chelios would be an amazing fight. Both are a bit aged and can still take on an opponent. My guess is that Chelios would win and have Bauer on the ground bleeding.
Remember, hockey fights are brutal with pads on -- imagine Chelios without them and instead with brass knuckles.
Jack vs. Jack. It can't get anymore interesting than that. Lambert is one of the NFL's scariest characters of all time.
He donned the cover of Sports Illustrated missing his front teeth, but that just made him even creepier.
In a game against the Dallas Cowboys, the Steelers missed a field goal and one of the Cowboys was celebrating. Lambert put him on the ground out of anger and stared down the rest of them.
Staring was one way he would scare the opposing team as he would look over the center and lock eyes with the quarter back. His nickname was "Dracula." Lambert was one of the best.
Bauer would be that Cowboy and be on the ground.
When you think of a jerk that could make a great nemesis for Bauer, Albert Belle may not be the first name that comes to mind. But from now on, he could be.
Belle started down pitchers much like Lambert did to quarterbacks. He trucked the Brewers' Fernando Vina (seen in the photo) in an attempt to break up a double play and started a brawl between the two teams.
Belle also threw a ball to a fan in the stands out of anger. He cursed several times on camera to a reporter. He corked his baseball bat like Sammy Sosa did.
Worst of all, Belle unleashed his anger on kids as he ran after them threatening to kill them after egging his house.
Bauer looks to have a lot on his hands if he decides to bout with Belle. Belle's anger would just make him go all "Incredible Hulk".
That's bad things for Bauer.
Are you a bit surprised that he is not No.1? Tyson continues to show that he can still pack a punch, whether it is in "The Hangover" or just making headlines for claiming he can beat someone.
We've seen Jack Bauer do just about anything he has to stay alive, but has he bitten off a piece of another man's ear.
My prediction is that Cassius Clay would knock out Jack Bauer in a few seconds ... or a minute if Jack can put up a fair fight.
Ali was the most dominant athlete of his time. If someone decided to mess with him, they would be in for some bad treatment later on.
Jack Bauer would be like a sparring partner to Ali. No contest. TKO in the first round. Ali wins.
