Will Jack truly be the next Jacob?  Who will Kate choose between Jack and Sawyer?  What will happen to Locke and his monster?  One thing is for certain, in this sixth and final season of the hit ABC series "LOST" we will be given answers to these questions and more as viewers will witness the series finale of one of the truly epic shows in television history.  However, have no fear, for as one drama ends the next one begins, or in the case of Vikings' quarterback Brett Favre, the "will he or won't he retire?" saga has officially returned to primetime.

Favre's future became a mystery the very moment the clock ran out on the Vikings in their loss to New Orleans in the NFC championship game.  Since that time, Favre has openly suggested that ankle surgery would be one of the prerequisites to a potential encore season with the Vikings.

According to a report that was initially posted on ESPN.com, Dr. James Andrews cleaned up scar tissue in Favre's ankle Friday morning which would help increase the quarterback's range of motion.  Although there was no mention of how the surgery will ultimately affect the quarterback's future plans, the drama and speculation behind the Brett Favre soap opera have officially been given permission to commence.
