The historic rivalry between U-Dub and Oregon has usually been a very competitive game, but this year the Ducks will no doubt take it in blowout fashion.  The Ducks "Run and Gun" offense will tear up the Huskies' D.

With the trio of Jeremiah Johnson, Andre Crenshaw, and LaGarrette Blount, as well as the addition of Nate Costa, I predict the Ducks will go for over 350 yards rushing and 150 passing.

I have followed Huskies quarterback Jake Locker for many years, since he played his high school ball in Ferndale, Washington.  Jake is a dual-threat QB.

Last year he tore up the Ducks with his rushing, but with Locker being such a young quarterback, I think the Ducks' veteran defense will figure him out and hold him under 100 yards rushing, as well as passing.

Based on this information, my score prediction is...

41-14 Ducks

GO DUCKS!!!!

  1. I'm an oregon fan, but that was useless Ty. No research, no real analysis, just alot of nonsense from a homer. The score prediciton is a plausible one but there is nothing to back it up. Garbage.

  2. As a Duck Fan I can honestly say that I hate the Dawgs, heck almost as much as I hate THE Ohio State. As much as I would love to see Oregon put up 40+ I really believe that the game will be a lot closer than that. I really think that the Huskies will stackt the line and make Costa beat them, which he can but will have a few issues. Costa is the future and I believe he can be great but don't think for one moment that Mosuli won't be in there if he struggles.

Ducks 31 UW 21 on the strength of the run!

  3. I have to favor the Ducks, but I think it is going to be a close game.

Hard to believe they actually posted an article that has no research, or tangible information.

    1. No research? He did note that Jake played HS ball in Ferndale and that he was a dual-thread QB. Give the guy some latitude!
