The Top 20 Sports Women the Maxim Hot 100 Forgot

Every year Maxim magazine publishes a list of the 100 hottest females in the world. This past week they revealed their 2010 list.

The list had a lot of sexy women, but it was lacking in one category—sports women.

Don't get me wrong, there are a few sports women that made the cut, but they should have had more.

The highest sports woman on the list was Arianny Celeste, at No. 23.

They also made a mistake and put Danica Patrick and Lyndsey Vonn on the list, skipping all the women you are about to see. Both of those women are hot, but they would not make this list here had Maxim left them out of its original list.

With that being said, I put together a list of the 20 hottest sports women in the world that Maxim left out.

20. Julia Mancuso - Alpine Skiing

With all the media coverage of Lyndsey Vonn, many people have forgotten about Julia Mancuso.

This beautiful Alpine skier has won more Olympic medals, three including a gold, than any other US female Alpine skier in Olympic history.

With stats like that, why wouldn't the media be all over her instead of Lyndsey Vonn?

She is hotter and more fun to watch. She has a great smile and a Visa commercial but the media still does not care.

If Maxim wanted to include an Olympic skier in their Hot 100, they should have included Julia instead of Lyndsey Vonn.

19. Ana Ivanovic - Tennis

Although she has not won a tournament since 2008, Ana is still a hot commodity in the tennis world. She had a terrible year in 2009 but has since rebounded and has found herself in two semi-finals so far in 2010.

She might not be the hottest tennis player, as you will see later on in the slideshow, but she is hot enough to get a vote from me to be on the Maxim Hot 100.

If she takes more pictures like this one, she will be on the list next year easily.

18. Latasha Marzolla - MMA Fighter

This former Playboy glamour model is a mother of two and MMA fighter.

Most people probably have no idea who she is, this is where I come in.

She has a 2-0 record in Tuff-N-Uff Amateur Fighting. Done!

Regardless of how famous she is, one thing is for sure, she is gorgeous and deserving of a spot on the list.

17. Elena Vesnina - Tennis

You should Google this blonde bombshell and tell me if she is deserving to be one of the hottest women in the world.

Go ahead, check it out!

You will agree when you start to see pictures of her playing tennis.

16. Gina Carano - MMA Fighter

Before losing last August, Gina was perfect. She had a perfect body and a perfect record. Since then, she has not fought and has kept a low profile.

Gina has been called the "Face of Women's MMA," but I refer to her as the hottest female in the world that can beat up almost anyone, men included.

15. Elena Dementieva - Tennis

Why wouldn't a tall skinny blonde make the Maxim Hot 100? The list is currently filled with them.

Elena is a pretty good tennis player, she won the gold medal at the 2008 Bejing Olympics, but her looks outshine her play.

I wish Maxim would give the fans a Hot 100 they can vote for. It would probably include most the women in this list especially Elena.

14. Anatasia Ashley - Surfing

I know what you are thinking and no she is not all three women.

If I can distract you for a quick second, she is the one in the yellow bikini.

13. Anna Semenovich - Figure Skating

Wow! I would comment on this picture but I forgot what I was doing.

12. Maria Sharapova - Tennis

Maria Sharapova has not been on the Maxim list since 2007 but she should have been on it this year.

After her shoulder injury in 2008, she has had a minor setback and she is finally back. She has had surgery and just recently won a tournament.

Maxim should have included her because she is beautiful and is in the midst of a comeback tour.

Many people might disagree with this one but I think she is always a smoking hottie and the resurgence in her career should have propelled her into the list.

11. Ashley Harkleroad - Tennis

Seriously Maxim, look at this picture and tell me that she should not have made the cut.

I mean, Maxim gave Danielle Panabaker a spot on the list, why wouldn't Ashley deserve a spot.

Once again, smoking hot female athletes get no love from the Maxim Hot 100 list.

10. Stephanie Rice - Swimming

Stephanie Rice is the most relevant female swimmer in the world. The key word in the sentence is relevant.

Sure Amanda Beard is hot but she is not around anymore. She is retired from competitive swimming and should not be on any more lists. I will admit, I have put Amanda on a few of mine.

That being said, Stephanie rightfully deserves a spot on the Maxim Hot 100 as a phenomenal swimmer combined with a gorgeous body and beautiful face.

9. Allison Stokke - Pole Vaulting

All I can say about Allison is, why not?

Allison Stokke has become an internet celebrity without even trying. She has become famous based on her looks and nothing else so why didn't Maxim jump on the bandwagon and throw her on the list?

Also, I would like to thank the person responsible for the pictures of Allison that hit the internet. On behalf of all men, thank you.

8. Torrie Wilson - Wrestling

This picture of Torrie Wilson is not one of her best.

If this is one of her worse pictures, I can only imagine what Maxim could have constructed for their list.

Possibly a small bikini, some sand, and a palm tree.

7. Maria Verchenova - Golf

She's not just another athlete with the name Maria from Russia.

Maria Verchenova is the first Russian female golf player to play on the Ladies European Tour.

I will allow you this time to enjoy her sexy legs and say that she is easily the hottest female golfer alive. Natalie Gulbis and Anna Rawson are hot but Maria beats them everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

6. Candice Michelle - Wrestling

If Maxim wanted to use a gorgeous woman from the Godaddy commercials, they should have grabbed Candice instead of Danica.

For those of you who do not remember, Candice was the babe that could not keep her tank top on in front of a censorship panel. It was this commercial that made her the real Godaddy girl.

She might not have been in the spotlight last year, she is currently pregnant, but she is still one of the hottest women in the world.

5. Allison Baver - Short Track Speed Skater

Excuse me for not questioning Maxim for not including Allison Baver in their list. If anything, she should have been in the bottom 10.

Once again, Danica Patrick is shoved into our faces and because of that, a spot on the list is taken away from babes such as Allison.

We get it, Danica is hot but she is a mediocre driver at best, Allison won a bronze medal in the Olympics.

4. Ashley Massaro - Wrestling

It does not matter what list I am making, Ashley Massaro will be on it.

She is so hot, it makes me want to slap my momma. She is also a super hot WWE superstar.

It has been a while since Maxim has given a spot on their Hot 100 list to a former female wrestler besides Stacy Keibler but if they did, they should consider this beauty.

Leryn Franco made the AskMen.com Top 99 Women list in 2009, why did she not make your Hot 100 list? Is she too hot? Or is she not on your list because you did not want to copy AskMen.com's list?

2. Tanith Belbin - Figure Skating

The Olympics are great because the world gets introduced to babes like Tanith. She has been around female ice skating for years but no one cares about that sport unless it is the Olympics.

One thing people are looking for from Tanith is more pictures of that smoking hot body. What better way to expose this sexy athlete then from a Maxim photo shoot?

She doesn't want to be on the list, she needs to be on the Maxim Hot 100. Maxim should give the fans what they want, more Tanith!

Let's give Maxim a few reasons on why Maria should have been on the Hot 100 list.

1. Sexy
2. Young, she is only 23 years old
3. Talent
4. Did I mention how sexy she is?

If Maxim can make room for Lea Seydoux and Daniela Ruah, they can certainly find a spot for this babe.
