Four years after winning the Tour de France only to have his title stripped under the allegations of doping, cyclist Floyd Landis came clean and admitted to years of performance-enhancing drug use.
Landis acknowledged he used PEDs during his years leading up to his Tour de France "victory" and provided the laundry list of drugs he ingested during his competitive years.
But Landis' admission of PED use isn't the only reason he made headlines. In addition to his own admission, Landis threw mud on former teammate and Tour de France legend Lance Armstrong and many others in the industry.
Landis stated that Armstrong too used PEDs throughout his championship years, giving further juice to the headline story.
It was a long embattled road for Landis to get to this point. Here is a look back at what brought him here.
