Journalistic integrity often involves painstaking research in order to maintain accuracy.

Suffice to say, with regard to this particular “article,” I was more than happy to perform my due diligence and ensure truth in advertising.

Assuming you have not already flipped to the next slide, you might be wondering why there's a picture of Eva Longoria Parker on the title page of a slideshow called "Mexico's Sexiest Fans, WAGs, and Celebrities."

Yes, she is an American, and her ancestry can be traced back to Spain. But the Longoria family immigrated to what is now called Texas in 1603, and that area of land belonged to Mexico until the United States annexed it in 1845. So in a sense, Eva Longoria Parker is from Mexico.

Who says you can’t learn anything by looking at pictures of scantily-clad hot women? Take that, high school guidance counselor!

Marisol Gonzalez

Marisolgonzalez_display_image

Marisol Gonzalez is a reporter for Televisa Deportes, was Miss Mexico Universe 2003, and is one of Cuauhtemoc Blanco’s former conquests.

Blanco was left off Mexico’s 23-man roster for the 2006 World Cup but returned to the squad in April 2009 when Javier Aguirre took over coaching duties for El Tri.

Only time will tell how well Blanco performs in South Africa, but for now, we’ll let his résumé speak for itself.

Galilea Montijo

Galileamontijo_display_image

Galilea Montijo is another one of Cuauhtemoc Blanco’s ex-girlfriends, and this voluptuous beauty is rockin’ the textbook definition of a Latin booty.

Even those who normally find themselves attracted to flat-bottomed girls of fairer races should be able appreciate Montijo’s hourglass figure. After all, real women have curves.

Ivonne Montero

Ivonnemontero_display_image

Ivonne Montero is another great example of a nice Latin booty.

For those among you who—like myself—appreciate girls with a naughty side, rest assured that this one has received my seal of approval. It’s right there on her lower back.

Mayrin Villanueva

Mayrinvillanueva1_display_image

Mayrín Villanueva is a telenovela actress who was born in Mexico City and has three children: two with her ex-husband (twins Romina and Sebastian) and baby Julia, who was born last year. That makes her a 39-year-old MILF. ‘Nuff said.

salma hayek

Salmahayek_display_image

Salma Hayek is even older than Mayrín Villanueva. Cougars of the world unite!

Hayek was the first woman from Mexico to earn an Oscar nomination for Best Actress and one of only three Latin American actresses to ever garner an Academy Award nomination in that category.

She also produces and directs, which means she's a woman with a lot of great assets.

Elsa Benítez

Elsabenitez_display_image

Elsa Benítez is the ex-wife of former NBA player Rony Seikaly. In addition to appearing on the covers of numerous publications, including the 2001 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, she also hosts Mexico's Next Top Model.

In 1996, Benítez almost boarded TWA Flight 800, which exploded over the Atlantic soon after takeoff. Thank goodness she didn’t, or else we never would have had the pleasure of seeing her in this photo.

Ninel Conde

Ninelconde_display_image

Ninel Conde is an actress, model, and Latin Grammy Award-nominated recording artist.

Thus far, the extent of her crossover in the States has been limited to two episodes of NBC’s Ugly Betty. I guess that means I should brush up on my Spanish and start watching telenovelas.

On second thought, why bother studying? The dialogue is the last thing I’ll be paying attention to.

Paulina Flores

Paulinaflores_display_image

Paulina Flores is a fashion model who earned the title of Miss Mexico World in 2000. Here she is in beautiful black and white for a touch of class (but only a touch).

Blanca Soto

Blancasoto_display_image

Blanca Soto is yet another former Miss Mexico World, and like so many models before her, she has also tried her hand at acting. She was aptly cast as Aphrodite in the Mexican production Divina Confusion.

Stateside, she’s appeared in Deep in the Valley with Denise Richards and Tracy Morgan as well as the CMA’s Sexiest Video of the Year, Billy Currington's "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right.” You can say that again.

Claudia Lizaldi

Claudializaldi_display_image

Claudia Lizaldi began her career as a television hostess before transitioning into acting. She has also found success as model despite being only 1.57 meters tall.

She still hosts several shows, including a sports program called Fútbol Fantástico. A woman who watches fútbol. Talk about a dream girl.

Aurora Robles

Aurorarobles_display_image

Aurora Robles is a high fashion model who has supposedly graced the cover of many a magazine, but I was hard pressed to find a picture I could actually publish on Bleacher Report, which is to say it would be well worth your time to perform an immediate Google search using her name.

Lorena Enríquez

Lorenaenriquez_display_image

Lorena Enríquez is a TV personality who has appeared in several Mexican soap operas. She is more sexy than beautiful, and the way she’s gazing at the camera makes me think she would be a lot of fun...to hang out with.

Do you hear that? It’s Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle singing, “She’s got the look.” Damn skippy, Roxette!

Vanessa Terkes

Vanessaterkes_display_image

I could not find any information on Vanessa Terkes, although my remedial Spanish reading skills did allow me to at least confirm the fact that she is Mexican.

Provided those shades aren’t hiding a pair of hideously scarred eyeballs, I would definitely tap...the keg myself in order to ensure she receives the first beer.

If her sunglasses are concealing some sort of deformity, that's okay too. In fact, it may even be better since it will level the playing field between me and all the ridiculously good-looking guys who I would otherwise have no hope of competing with.

Dulce Maria

Dulcemara_display_image

I figured this list could use a redhead in the name of equal opportunity representation, and Dulce Maria was the best one I could find.

Maria’s great aunt was the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo (whom Salma Hayek potrayed in the biopic Frida). She is an actress and musician who used to date Club America/Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

People En Español magazine named her one of the "50 Most Beautiful" in 2007. I love her sexy eyes in this picture.

Aracely Arámbula

Aracelyarmbula_display_image

Aracely Arámbula is another triple threat: actress, model, singer. She made her acting debut in 1994 in a television series called Prisionera de Amor (which translates to Prisoner of Love, a role I would be more than happy to fill for her).

In the beginning she was too shy to shoot naked, but you’ll be happy to hear she has since overcome that fear.

Martika Ibarra

Martikaibarra_display_image

Gentlemen may prefer blondes, but generally speaking, I don’t (then again, I’ve never been accused of being a gentleman).

Martika Ibarra, however, caught my eye. She’s cute—and smart too. In addition to being a model, she is also a wardrobe stylist, make-up artist, and a realtor. With both beauty and brains, Martika Ibarra is the total package.

Thalia

96850669_display_image

Cute more so than hot, this one-name worldwide sensation cemented her place on the list with her skills, but that’s OK because women with vocal talents are extremely sexy.

Thalia began her career as a singer when she was eight years old and is now a multi-platinum recording artist with 15 albums to her name. She has received more than 2,000 awards over the course of her career and been given the key to over 50 cities throughout the world.

I guess that answers the age-old question: “Your place or mine?”

Fabiola Campomanes

Fabiolacampomanes_display_image

Fabiola Campomanes is an actress who has appeared in more telenovelas than you can shake a stick at.

The images of her I found online were hit or miss, but this one’s hot no matter which way you slice it. I’m pretty sure she’s the one on the left, but at the end of the day, does it really matter?

Priscila Perales

Priscilaperales_display_image

In 2007, Priscila Perales became the first Mexican woman to win the title of Miss International. The year before that, she represented her country in the Miss Universe pageant, where she finished among the top ten. She also studied Sciences and Communication at the University of Monterrey in Mexico, but I don’t think she graduated.

This is a decent shot of her but she’s at the tail end of this slideshow because I wasn’t overly impressed with the other pictures I saw online.

Anette Michel

Anettemichel_display_image

Yet another model/actress...

Is anyone actually reading these captions?

Belinda

Belinda_display_image

I was on the fence with regard to including Belinda in this slideshow, but as I mentioned before, there is something sexy about a woman who can do amazing things with her throat muscles.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn’t bear to write another caption for an actress or model and Belinda used to date Mexico’s Giovani dos Santos, which made her relevant.
