Well the Net's did not get the first pick in the NBA Draft Lottery, so how does this effect LeBron James' decision on which team to sign with this summer. I actually don't think it will effect his decision that much. LeBron wants to go to a team with a new young core, and that is exactly what the Nets have. To be honest the Nets were not a 12 win team last season. They had the potential to win a lot more games. LeBron knows that, and the team move to Brooklyn is another great selling point for the Nets. The number one pick in the 2010 NBA draft is going to be John Wall, we all know that. The second pick probably be Evan Turner out of Ohio State. Now what the Nets deiced to do with the third pick might be a little bit of a mystery. There are many players that they can go with, but the main point is that whoever the Nets pick, he will probably be a game changer. That is something LeBron wants, but is it enough to lure him the New Jersey?
There are probably only four teams in the James race, including: Cleveland, New Jersey, New York, and Chicago. I still think that Cleveland has the best shot of resigning James, not only because it is his home town, but because they can also offer him the most guaranteed money. Of course be a New Yorker my hope is that LeBron signs with the Knicks! It is only early March, and we still have a little more than a month for James to make his decision. What he will do is a mystery for know.
