MMAFighting.com has recently reported that Impact Fighting Championships has signed numerous former Pride and UFC fighters including Karo Parisyan, Jeff Monson, Pedro Rizzo, Josh Barnett, Ricco Rodriguez, Carlos Newton, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, Paulo Filho, Murilo Bustamante, and more.

For one reason or another, many of these fighters have been dealing with long layoffs and personal struggles.

A few years ago, most of these names were top fighters in the sport, and though they have faded, together they can make an attractive event, if everything can go according to plan.

All three events are slated for the month of July, so it is hard to believe that many of these fighters will fight numerous times in one month. If they can pull it off, this should put Impact Fighting Championships on the map.

Good luck to them, they are going to need it.
