Barcelona are close to signing deals with David Villa and Cesc Fabregas.
Newly crowned league champions, Barcelona are keen on snapping up Valencia ace Villa and hope to bring in Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.
A move for Villa has not been talked about for some time as Valencia are hoping not to lose their star striker.
Fabregas has recently said he wants to move away from England and back to the Spanish giants in the future.
Officials from Barcelona have admitted that the two deals are currently at different stages. Villa is very close to making the move, whereas Arsenal are expected to be keen on keeping Fabregas and will fight hard to hold on to him.
"Negotiations are progressing well especially in the case of Villa," said Barcelona's vice president Rafael Yuste.
"The situation with Cesc is different because even if you have the will of the player it is very important to talk to his club and, if you can, find an agreement," said Yuste. "But what makes it easier is that both players want to come to Barca."
Fabregas has revealed he wants his future sorted out before he goes to the World Cup in less than a month.
It looks very likely that Barcelona will have another two world class players on their team, and will use them to try and dominate Europe once again.
