The NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C. opened its doors for the first time in history recently, welcoming the original inductees including Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Junior Johnson, Bill France Sr. and Bill France Jr.

NASCAR now has a location to celebrate its biggest stars now and into the future. But what would these NASCAR stars and many others be without their hot women at their side?

NASCAR drivers have long had a history of dazzling women on their arms in the winner circle. The legend of the NASCAR WAG has its own place in the sport's history. In fact, there should be a wing of the new Hall of Fame dedicated to them. Unfortunately, there isn't and thus we are left creating our own NASCAR WAG Hall of Fame.

Buffy Waltrip

Buffy Waltrip, also known as the wife of former driver Michael Waltrip, is the godmother of the new era of NASCAR WAGs. Waltrip famously proposed to Buffy in the winner circle of the Bristol Busch race in 1993.

Marisa Miller

Miller's career as a NASCAR WAG did not last long, but for three years from 2002--2004 she and Dale Earnhardt Jr. made for NASCAR's biggest power couple.

Connie Montoya

NASCAR acquired the rights Connie Montoya when her husband Juan Pablo Montoya made the jump from open wheel racing to NASCAR. It's like Ichiro coming over from Japan and ultimately landing in Cooperstown.

Ingrid Vandebosch

Gordon famously upgraded from his first wife Brooke to model and actress Ingrid Vandebosch. She entered WAG status in 2002 and Gordon made an honest woman out of her in 2004.

Ashley Judd

Ashley Judd spices up the sidelines at University of Kentucky basketball games, but the actress became a two-sport star when she began dating Dario Franchitti in 1999 and married him in 2001.
