So now we know that next Monday night, RAW will have a new general manager since Piggie Guerrero's one-day GM stint came to a close last night.
Who will it be? A lot of speculation is going to happen in the coming week, but as always, WWE goes for the obvious and lame choices.
Instead, I will give my opinion on who would be a great GM, and list some that are probably too obvious that the WWE may use, and disappoint us.
Now, how great would it be if Mr. (Vince) McMahon went back to his authority figure character, rather than a chairman who loves his Mcintyres, and gives Theodore Long probation after probation?
However, Mr. McMahon did say that he probably won't return as a character anymore.
Since the WWE tends to go for the obvious, and hardly ever surprises us anymore, I wouldn't be surprised if they tab Teddy Long, or bring back Vickie Guerrero for that matter.
I believe Teddy Long deserves to be on RAW, basically because he is the longest-serving GM in WWE history.
Everyone's ideal and possible person for the job.
Yes, Heyman has stated that he hates the WWE, but he respects Mr. McMahon as a business man—he hates the product, but loves the business.
Mr. McMahon may get Heyman to fend off interest from rival organization TNA, and he is one of the best minds in wrestling today.
He played a funny and extremely popular GM of Smackdown, when Eric Bischoff was the GM of RAW, and gave us one of the most entertaining rivalries between the brands since the brands were created.
The obvious, and most IWC-satisfying person for the job.
Sure, he won the U.S. title, but that win has given him the reason to return to RAW next week, even though this show was supposed to be his last on WWE television.
He could come back to RAW next week, suggesting that he was offered the GM position in exchange for the U.S. title, thus making the title vacant.
Say what you want to say about her, a pig, a washed-up character, oh, not the Edge and Guerrero storyline again! But hey, her character is the only one in the WWE today that generates enough heat in the building that we haven't seen in the WWE since the Attitude era.
I would love for her to be the Smackdown GM, however, would not like to see the Edge and Guerrero pairing again.
I know this was brief, but the WWE is too obvious and disappointing with their decisions, so this is a viable discussion.
Let me hear your opinions on who you think should be next GM—only viable people, please!
