Beth Phoenix revealed that she will have to undergo surgery to repair a torn ACL in her left knee. Her surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, at the Dr. Andrews Medical Clinic in Birmingham, Ala.

In addition to the ACL tear, Phoenix also suffered a torn meniscus and a sprained MCL.

Phoenix wrote in her WWE Universe blog that the injury occurred during a match against Rosa Mendes on WWE Superstars two weeks ago.

According to Phoenix, the injury occurred after jumping over Mendes from the turnbuckle. Phoenix stated she landed with her feet together and felt her left knee buckle to the side, and hearing a distinctive "Crunch."

Beth was examined by WWE medical staff after the match, and was advised to get an MRI. At that time, the doctors advised Phoenix of the severity of her injury.

Despite her injury, Phoenix decided to perform in front of her hometown fans in Buffalo, N.Y. on SmackDown.

It is estimated that "The Glamazon" will be out of action for 5-6 months.
