Titans better pay the man
Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson had a unbelievable year last year as he rushed for 2006 yards and 14 touchdowns, which has prompted a request for a new deal.
If they want Johnson to be effective in week one the better pay the man.
According to NFL Network’s Warren Sapp, via ProFootballTalk.com, he is convinced that Johnson will sit out all of training camp if he doesn’t get a new contract.
When host Rich Eisen pointed out that a lot of players talk tough until the get fined Sapp responded, “He’s prepared to take this through training camp.”
In the end, with the Titans in a division with the Indianapolis Colts the smart thing to do is to pay Johnson.
