2010 NFL: AFC West Exploding Into a Power House
With the AFC West exploding with talent from around the NFL, the AFC West is looking to be another power house division. The Chiefs are looking like a playoff team with the players they have; picking up Thomas Jones from the Jets to support the run game KC seems to almost always have.
The Okland Raiders have cut ties with draft bust Jamarcus Russell, and now have Jason Campbell. With Darren McFadden and now Campbell, I believe the Raiders are a team to be watching. Although I do think it will be a few more years until I'm afraid of them.
The San Diego Chargers as it looks might not fall that far down like I thought when they lost LT. I don't think they will be the #1 team in the West this year, since the Chiefs are looking playoff-caliber. Their draft pick Ryan Mathews might be able to save them from falling too far, if falling at all.
The Denver Broncos have a lot of holes that need to be filled. They don't have the type of run game that the Broncos are use to having, But with the visit of Brian Westbrook this Thursday that could change and give the Broncos the power back they so desperately need. The Denver Broncos with all their issues have alot to go through to stay #2 in the West.
