The Top Five Wrestlers To Come From The AWA

I recently did a slide show on the top five wrestlers to never be a world champion in WWE, WCW, ECW, or TNA. I mentioned in some of my comments that I did not believe that the AWA was as big as some of the other companies were in pro wrestling, boy was I wrong.

I recently did some research on the AWA and discovered that the AWA was very popular at one point. They had solid talent that gave them a time slot on ESPN each week.

The AWA was created by Verne Gagne in 1960 and it was a staple in professional wrestling for 31 years until closing down due to financial troubles. Over the 31 years, there have been many wonderful superstars to come out of the AWA and eventually become huge stars in other companies, this list is the top five talents to come from the AWA.

I based my choices on the success in and out of the company in other places but this is the top five list in my opinion.

You the wrestling fans are more than welcome to leave whatever comments you feel about this below in the comment box. You can also give me your top 5 list or tell me what you didn't like about my list. Either way just make your opinions heard because like I always say, there is never a bad opinion except not having one at all.
