National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell made it clear last year that concussion are to be taken more seriously and that a players return is determined by the team’s doctor.
With what Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson revealed to Sporting News, via ProFootballTalk.com, Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg can expect to be called to the principal’s office soon.
According to the report, prior to their game against the Atlanta Falcons in week 13 Morhinweg questioned Jackson’s toughness and tried to pressure Jackson into returning without doctor clearance.
That is the very reason why penalties are needed for coaches who promote this type of behavior.
In the end, there is no more room for crap like this.
