Coach Rodriguez, did you really think no one would notice? Are you that arrogant? You have taken a rival of mine and turned it into a punching bag.
For those of you who do not realize exactly what it is that you are looking at, to the left is a picture of scUM's new jerseys for the 2009 season. On the right is WVU's uniforms. Very original, Dick.
I could insult this guy for weeks and never write repetitive material. I have nothing to say regarding this abomination. I almost feel bad for fans of the new wvUM.

I'm wondering what you think Rich Rodriguez had to do with this change? It was announced well before Lloyd Carr retired that Michigan would be switching the maker's of its jersey from Nike to Adidas in the coming years. The change in style is due to a change in brand, not a coach. Furthermore, you can clearly see that West Virginia's jerseys are made by Nike, while Michigan's are made by Adidas.
There is no correlation between the hiring of a new coach and the style of jerseys in which his team will wear. This is simply a coincidence.

Actually, I really like the new Michigan uniforms.
Why are Irish fans making fun of their opponent's football duds all of the sudden?
I mean, that's the kind of trash you talk about after you don't get publicly humiliated on national television 47-21 and 38-0 in successive years with an NFL coach at the helm.
Look, if Americans forced to watch Notre Dame football on NBC until Armageddon can withstand the hideousness of the Irish green uniforms, surely Notre Stain fans can buck up and bear it through the new "scUM" uniforms above, mkay?

Why are you generalizing how all Irish fans feel on this matter? Discussing how ugly or not a team's uniforms are is far from trash talking.
There is nothing hideous about the green jerseys, at least not the ones of late. Dark forest green and gold are a very sharp combination. No stripes or anything on the sides. Just plain, simple, frill-free uniforms.
However, I would agree that the ones used in the 70's (and consequently the ones worn against USC last year in honor of the '77 national championship team) were not too aesthetically appealing.
Lastly, the new UM home jerseys are OK but the road ones are a disgrace and Michigan fans should be upset about them. They're a rip-off of WVU's jerseys... and what's with the yellow stripes on the backs? Trash.
