Buffalo Bills

Practice means nothing

Paul KasprzakContributor IMay 10, 2010

With the Buffalo Bills holding their Rookie minicamp this past week there were reports that rookie running back CJ Spiller looked really good.

However, the fact of the matter is practice means nothing.

There have been a lot of players throughout the course of the National Football League that have looked great in practice, but stunk in games.

For the Bills that player was tight end Lonnie Johnson.

Johnson in practice looked great making some highlight catches, but when it came to game day downright stunk.

Spiller has been billed as a game breaking player that should provide some highlights at training camp this summer.

In the end, none of that will matter if Spiller doesn’t due it on game day.
